Ways of proper Time Management

  • Organising: Maintain a sort of time table/ journal to plan all your tasks for the day. Start it one day at a time. Eventually, move on to make regular organised plans.
  • Start a bullet journal/Diary: It is important to store your work done throughout the day. It not only helps in organising but also maintaining a record of the daily tasks. Day by day you can watch your progress. It is a good way to motivate yourself and keep the spirit up.
  • Commitment: Be committed to your organised plans. Don’t try to push them for later. You can do something else instead then.
  • Schedule time for interruptions: Many a times things can be unavoidable. Maintain a certain adjustment time for the same. Let there be no excuses as to why you couldn’t do a certain planned task.
  • Figure out priorities: It is important to know which thing is necessary which can be pushed back a little. List up things that are urgent and things that can be done in time separately and organise accordingly.
  • Put up a ‘Do not Disturb’ Sign: Many a times unwanted interruptions hold us back from completing a task. It is important to keep them away. Close your room door and switch off your phone. Shut out the world and concentrate on the task in hand.
